22 May 2025: Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition 2025, the leading international forum for sustainability in fashion, will take place from 3-5 June 2025. Presented by Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), a non-profit organisation that is accelerating the transition to a net positive fashion industry, this year’s Summit will convene global leaders under the urgent theme, ‘Barriers and Bridges’, to drive collective action. The Summit will be held at the prestigious Copenhagen Concert Hall, with side events taking place at distinguished cultural landmarks around the city.
Now in its 16th year, the forum is recognised as the foremost platform for shaping a net positive future in fashion. The 2025 Copenhagen edition will explore the dualities of this moment, highlighting how challenging new barriers – from financial and regulatory to ideological – can be leveraged as bridges for tangible change. With sustainability now intersecting with increasing regulatory pressure, the programme will spotlight five key forces shaping fashion’s future: Innovation, Capital, Courage, Incentives, and Regulation.
HM The Queen of Denmark, a long-serving patron of GFA, will attend the opening of the Summit on 4 June and explore the latest solution providers in the Innovation Forum
Confirmed speakers include thought leaders and decision-makers from Kering, Gucci, RE&UP, eBay, European Commission, GANNI, The Lycra Company, Bangladesh Centre for Worker Solidarity, H&M Group, ExpectAI, Visa Europe, UN Environment Programme, Zalando, Cornell University Global Labor Institute, EILEEN FISHER, and Fair Labor Association, with more to be announced.
With even more focus on innovation this year, the Innovation Forum, will return with a curated community of pioneering solution providers spanning the entire value chain, from next gen materials to advanced end-of-use processes. Through guided tours and a thorough Matchmaking programme, brands and retailers will engage with the innovations needed to accelerate transformation. Included in the Innovation Forum are the shortlisted solutions from GFA’s Trailblazer Programme 2025, in collaboration with PDS Ventures, this year introducing three key pillars serving as critical sustainability priorities; Working With Nature, Closed Loop Pathways, and Tech Powered Transformation. The winner of the Trailblazer Programme will be revealed on 5 June.
The landmark event is expected to attract over 1000 stakeholders from the fashion sector, adjacent industries, policymakers, solution providers, and more. Sessions on the Preliminary Programme include ‘Innovation vs. Imitation: Fashion + A.I.’, ‘Electrify Everything? The Carbon Transition’, ‘Tariffs, Timelines and Transitions’, ‘Jobs with Dignity’, and ‘Who Cares? Closing the Consumer Gap’.

As we face growing economic uncertainty, regulatory complexity and societal pressure, Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition 2025 will not only spotlight the obstacles we must overcome, but also the solutions that will shape a regenerative, inclusive, and innovative future.
